On the
eve of Halloween, October 30, screams and shrieks of fright and joy permeated
campus during Fright Night 2015. Back
after a two-year hiatus, over 1,000 attendees enjoyed the spirited event,
sponsored and planned by the Parent Organization.
Two weeks prior, parent volunteers began building and crafting various components of the event, which included a bevy of games and the Haunted House featuring Halloween-inspired characters from the Wizard of Oz. Their hard work equated into an overwhelmingly-successful evening – evident by screaming children running back in line to go through the Haunted House again, costumed characters of all
shapes and size strutting their stuff to dance
music, long and looping lines at the row of games and bags filled with goodies
picked up along Treat Street. Participants
also enjoyed getting their fortunes told, having balloon animals made-to-order,
embellishing their costumes with face painting and more. It was
