The team, one of 39 registered for the event – including five teams from Australia, two from China and one from Singapore, Taiwan and New Jersey – allied with partners from Iolani School and Hilo High School during the Aerial Assist challenge.
The Lancer Team 2437 finished 13th overall, after fighting valiantly to advance to the quarter finals.
For their enthusiasm and fervor, the team, under the advisorship of Peter Park, won the “Team Spirit Award.”
