VEX IQ Robotics Team brings home the Inspire Award at Lacy Veach Day

The Sacred Hearts Academy VEX IQ Robotics Program sent teams from the sixth grade and middle school to the 2014 Astronaut Lacy Veach Day of Discovery VEX IQ Tournament that was held at Punahou School on October 25th.

The sixth grade team presented for and brought home the VEX IQ Inspire Award. This is the the first VEX IQ award that the Academy's Robotics Program has won. The inspiration for their VEX IQ robot design was an elephant. The winning team members are: Kelly Thieu, Fiona Sun, Kayla Kealoha, Emma Kauhane and Kelee Aizawa-Smith.
