Mike brings more than 20 years of advancement and educational leadership experience, along with a deep commitment to Catholic education and service. Throughout his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, athletic coach, school administrator, advancement professional, and chief financial officer, providing him with a broad understanding of the many ways schools support student growth and success.
Much of Mike’s career was spent at Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Los Angeles, where he served in several leadership roles, including Economics Teacher, Director of Athletics, Director of Institutional Advancement, and Chief Financial Officer. He later expanded his experience through leadership work with Palisades Charter High School and the EduCare Foundation.
Mike shares Sacred Hearts Academy’s commitment to educating young women to lead lives of faith, purpose, and service. He looks forward to meeting students, families, alumnae, benefactors, and community partners while becoming an active presence throughout our Academy ʻohana.
His work will help strengthen connections between the generosity of our supporters and opportunities that enrich the educational experience for our students and families.
We invite our alumnae, families, friends, and supporters to join us in extending a warm welcome to Mike as he begins this new chapter at Sacred Hearts Academy.

It is great to see the Sacred Hearts community supporting the Blood Bank of Hawaii and encouraging people to help such an important local cause. Blood donations can make a meaningful difference for patients and families who depend on a reliable supply. Community support like this shows how small acts of generosity can have a lasting impact. It's fascinating to see Michael Rawson stepping into the role of Director of Development at Sacred Hearts Academy. I'm curious about how he plans to integrate innovative fundraising strategies while honoring the school's traditions. What are some specific goals he's set for his first year? It would be great to hear more about that! our driving directions platform offers several transportation options, such as driving, walking, and cycling.
