The Class of 2014 showcased 117 graduates, each moving on to an institution of higher learning. Many will remain in Hawai'i, others will move to the continental United States, and a few will study in Asia, Canada and Europe. No matter where they continue their education, they leave the Academy prepared with 21st Century skills to face their futures.
At the 2014 Commencement Exercises on May 24 at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall, Salutatorian Katie Lee welcomed her classmates to the end of their high school journey and the beginning of their journey into the real world, and Valedictorian Nadia Busekrus likened her class to a royal palm tree that has grown strong and confident.
Keynote speaker Patricia Johnson, '82, shared about her student days at the Academy and the University of Portland, as well as her quick trip up the professional ladder, owning her own advertising agency by the age of 26. Then, life threw her a "curveball, and based on her own experiences, she advised the graduates to always be in a space of gratitude.
After Johnson's address, 43 members of the class graduated with Scholastic Honors, bestowed on those earning at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. Special academic awards in subject areas were also presented along with the school's special awards, including the Aymer Award, for the student who best typifies the spirit of Sacred Hearts Academy, which presented to Valedictorian Busekrus.
The Commencement Exercises concluded with the recognition of members from the Classes of 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, and 1964.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% positive. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers web designer singapore
