Why an All-Girls Education Matters

Girls' schools are uniquely positioned to support the ways girls learn and grow. Studies have shown that students attending all-girls schools often report strong levels of support from both their classmates and teachers, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.

At Sacred Hearts Academy, this philosophy shapes everything we do. Our curriculum and learning environment are intentionally designed to encourage academic excellence, leadership development, and personal growth. By fostering confidence and resilience, we empower students to flourish not only during their time at the Academy but throughout their lives.

From preschool through grade 12, Sacred Hearts Academy offers programs tailored specifically for girls and young women at every stage of their educational journey.

We invite families to learn more about our vibrant school community. Contact our Admission Team or complete an inquiry form today to discover what makes a Sacred Hearts Academy education so special. 🤍💛

The Power of YOU: Kiana Cayabyab Inspires SHA Student Ambassadors

Sacred Hearts Academy's Student Ambassadors gathered this October for a workshop with a simple, powerful theme: "The Power of YOU — Building Your Personal Brand, Confidence & Future."

Leading the session was special guest presenter Kiana Cayabyab, a Hawaiʻi journalist, host, model, actor, and content creator. Born and raised on Kauaʻi, Cayabyab is a Kamehameha Schools Kapālama graduate who went on to Loyola Marymount University before building a career in journalism and hosting — most recently as a Digital News Host with the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Framing her talk as "My Journey: From Kauaʻi to Creating My Own Path," Cayabyab walked students through the pillars of an authentic personal brand: confidence and authenticity, creating opportunities, and overcoming challenges — closing with words of wisdom and an open Q&A.

Her central message resonated across the room: "Your personal brand isn't about creating a perfect image. It's about knowing who you are, what you stand for, and how you want to show up in the world."

Mahalo to Kiana Cayabyab for sharing her story and investing in our young women — the next generation of women who lead.

Welcoming ACE Scholarships Leadership to Sacred Hearts Academy

Sacred Hearts Academy was honored to welcome Kristy Badger, Chief Marketing Officer at ACE Scholarships; Sindy Beckerle, National Foundations Manager; and Micah Hirokawa, President of ACE Hawaii, along with their families, for a special visit to campus.

As a proud ACE partner school, Sacred Hearts Academy values the important role ACE Scholarships plays in helping families access educational opportunities that best meet their children's needs. Through scholarship support, ACE works alongside families, donors, and schools to expand access to quality education and create pathways for student success.

During their visit, our guests had the opportunity to learn more about Sacred Hearts Academy's mission, meet students, and experience firsthand the programs that help young women grow as scholars, leaders, and compassionate servants. It was a privilege to share the stories, accomplishments, and aspirations of the students who benefit from strong community partnerships such as ours.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kristy, Sindy, Micah, and their families for spending part of their time in Hawaiʻi with us. Their dedication to expanding educational opportunities has made a meaningful impact on students and families in our community.

Please know that you will always have a home at Sacred Hearts Academy. Mahalo for becoming part of our extended ʻohana. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus whenever your travels bring you to the islands. 🌺

Fall Break took SHA to Denver, CO! ✈️🌺

Fall break memories made across the miles! ✈️🌺

We're thankful for our partnership with ACE Scholarships, which helps open doors for Sacred Hearts Academy students and families.

During the break, Academy alumna and kumu, Haukea Ho '97 and her daughters, Dylen, '27, and Kamryn, '35, both ACE Scholars, traveled to Denver, CO, for Laulima Beyond Shorelines, a special ACE Scholarships Hawaiian-inspired concert celebrating laulima, the idea that many hands come together to accomplish great things.

Now it's your turn! 💬 How did you spend your fall break? We'd love to hear about your adventures, big or small. #SacredHeartsAcademy #ACEScholarships #Laulima #SHAohana
